Ouch!
loaner “car”
Yay! Fixed!
Now, guess the part at fault and the total price including loaner (Fri - Mon) and VAT at my indie BMW specialist!

Are these pictures the wrong way around? Are you trying to relay something to us? Nice stance though. Coil-overs ?
The color of the roof of that Citoyota is... questionable.

I should have specifically stated that members of the Europpo whatsapp group are excluded. ;)

I know the E61 has a rear self-leveling suspension that’s prone to failure. As for repair cost I’m going with €185 0.

Do those have air suspension? I see a E61 (?) wagon at my local independent BMW shop a LOT, and I’ve for sure seen it sitting way too low.
If it’s broken rear air suspension, that’s gotta be like $2k to fix.

I did not disclose anything, now did I? Not explicitly .

Yep, air suspension. And nope, way less!

Less, much less than that!

Nope, you didn’t!

Can you use the commonly accepted for of currency to describe the cost? As in, how many Maß of Münchner Oktoberfest Bier was it?
![]() 09/16/2019 at 14:34 |

I’m not 100% sure where the Maß sits right now, but 10 I guess.

Broken air suspension 360 currency units

Q: Did you actually repair the air suspension or just replace it with a solid suspension (like a lot of Audi people do)?
The former: $1,000
Latter: $500

The shop repaired it for way less.

You are the closest so far, but still too much.

I just did the bags on my e39, and have an e61 also which I believe is similar. the e39 at least, is just bags that can easily be removed, and a pump/bladder under the spare. 2 hoses that are maybe a foot long

2 rear shocks and pump, $900
![]() 09/17/2019 at 02:41 |

I would translate that to 11 Maß.

€ 132.60 for the pump relay.

They just did their due diligence. Went through the car wiht a multimeter, found the compressor relay to be at fault and changed that.
